6. How do you view the dynamics between the Pacifica network and local station autonomy?
Station autonomy has become a complex discussion which can encompass many aspects of a stations relationship with national. Ideally autonomy should be first viewed from the pov of the communities we serve and then how does the national vision compliment that ground up perspective by forming a cohesive system that serves to reflect and incorporate local interest while protecting and celebrating local independence.
7. How should the Pacifica Foundation find a wider audience?
We live in a time where we have tremendous opportunities to develop new diverse audience. We need to return the tools of radio to the community via podcast, community streams, building local broadcast interactive hubs. More town halls, more participation in community services such as disaster preparedness, arts and music promotions, sponsoring green events that reach average listeners and diverse communities.

As someone who has done a number of projects for archives including transferring tape to digital I would like to open up access and make the archives more accessible to libraries also monthly online archive radio hour programs.

13. Should the station consider relocating the studio to other facilities? Where and Why?
Yes but this would require capital improvement planning.
